Would someone please explain to me a use-case for Etcher that does NOT ultimately require admin access? ( i.e. It’s possible you have some damaged Windows system files on your computer.

This removed the 1.5.45 from Windows 10 Apps and features and I was then able to install BalenaEtcher. Took the balenaEtcher-Setup-1.5.45.exe and extracted it to a temporary directory and then executed the Uninstall balenaEtcher.exe. Since Etcher’s sole and entire purpose in life is to “etch”, (flash), SD cards and the like, and since accessing the raw device, (which is necessary to flash it), requires administrative privilege on every operating system I’ve ever used. I have never extracted stuff from an exe but it worked like magic.
